A development of 51 houses North of Black Swan Close, in Pease Pottage near Crawley that had initially been turned down for planning was given permission when the applicants appealed.
Crawley Borough Council, Mid Sussex County Council and local residents had objected to the application on the basis that it would back onto a strategic gap and have a detrimental affect on wildlife, infrastructure and congestion however the appeal process resulted in this application being granted.
How do you feel about this? Is this bad news for locals worried about the impact of more houses in the area or good news for those in the construction industry and wanting jobs in the Crawley area?
