Picture yourself as Head of Business Development, leading and inspiring a small team through a proactive approach, driving innovation & creativity and helping identify and grow new business opportunities within the Meetings & Events Market.

You will be the driving force behind our Business development for Hound Lodge, our stunning 10- bedroom country retreat, with the continued activation of new revenue streams. This is a key component in shaping our future sustainability and growth.

You will possess a strong ability to deliver commercially by creating an energised and collaborative team environment which will thrive under your leadership. Together you will proactively promote Goodwood to corporate businesses, have a full understanding of competitor activity and the impact on Goodwood, when negotiating with clients.

With at least 5 years’ experience in delivering consistent commercial growth, you will be able to demonstrate success in high profile, demanding and fast paced environments, including the delivery of strategies to the C Suite sector, HNWIs and International markets.

You will report directly into the Director of Estate Sales and must be well versed in the creation and delivery of compelling sales presentations.

What you’ll need:

• Consistently delivering commercial success and achieving targets
• Proven track record of leading a successful sales team
• Confident networker at a senior level
• Excellent influencing skills
• Global experience and international connections
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry
• IT literate and systems orientated with experience on a CRM system, preferably Delphi
• Full current driving license
