Student Recruitment Advisor

Location: West Dean London, Bloomsbury (with occasional travel to our Sussex campus)
Salary: £33,000–£36,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Student Recruitment Advisor to help prospective students discover everything West Dean has to offer.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in recruiting students across our Higher Education programmes. As the first point of contact for many prospective students, you'll provide expert advice and guidance throughout the applicant journey, helping individuals make informed decisions about their future studies.

Working closely with the Student Recruitment Manager and colleagues across the College, you'll:

• Provide tailored advice to prospective students via phone, email and in person.
• Build strong relationships that encourage applications and enrolments.
• Support the planning and delivery of Open Days, recruitment fairs, webinars and other conversion events.
• Represent West Dean at external recruitment events and exhibitions.
• Monitor enquiry and recruitment data to identify trends and improve the applicant experience.
• Contribute to international recruitment initiatives and market development.

About you

You'll be an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be organised, proactive and confident working with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Experience in recruitment, admissions, customer service, sales or another student-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to influence and guide people through important decisions.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office or database systems.
• A genuine passion for providing an outstanding applicant experience.
