  • Work closely with the Editor and Deputy Editor to ensure high-quality, relevant and engaging content, while maintaining the publication’s credibility and authority within the sport
  • Develop and grow Motorsport News’ digital channels, including website, email and social media platforms, with a focus on increasing reach, engagement and subscription revenue
  • Oversee the efficient weekly production of the newspaper, managing internal systems and resources, freelance contributors and external suppliers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
  • Establish clear KPIs across revenue, costs, subscriptions, audience growth and engagement, providing regular reporting and insight to senior management
Requirements of the role:
  • Proven experience in a senior role within media, publishing, events or a related commercial environment. Experience managing a brand or business unit is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and identifying new commercial opportunities
  • Ability to define and execute a clear vision, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term development
  • Experience of taking full responsibility for a business area, with the ability to lead a small team and work collaboratively across functions
  • Strong understanding of multi-platform publishing, including print, digital and social media channels, with experience driving audience growth and subscription models
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • A passion for motorsport or an understanding of the UK racing and rallying landscape is desirable
Location

This role will be based in the MSV Head Office at Brands Hatch, Kent. A full UK driving licence is required.

What we offer:
