Harvey John is working exclusively with a Sussex based professional services firm with the recruitment of a Head of Finance & Facilities.

This is a key and pivotal leadership role within the firm to ensure the continued development, effectiveness and management of the internal systems, finances, processes and facilities. A visible role across the firm, you'll be with the wider business to drive innovation, change and improvement.

Reporting to and working closely with the Board, your new job will be biased towards a traditional Finance Director role but the duties will go beyond the financial requirements becoming involved in the day to day efficiencies and expectations of the firm to include technology, quality and governance.

About You

• An experienced, versatile qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a broad range of financial, accounting and commercial skills
• Although not essential you will most likely have current or previous experience within an accountancy or professional services firm
• First class analytical skills and proven track record of working to tight deadlines and delivering results
• Dedicated to maintaining high quality standards and making continuous improvements in systems and processes
• Proven ability to provide key financial data, support and reports to assist in business decisions
• Ensure that all statutory and corporate obligations are met
