About the Role

Due to unforeseen circumstances there is an opportunity for an inspirational and creative full time teacher to join our happy and dedicated KS2 team at Wivelsfield School. The school, situated in the heart of the village, near both Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, has recently been expanded and from September all classes will be taught in single year groups. It benefits from spacious modern premises with extensive grounds, which we are committed to using to enrich learning. Wivelsfield School is very popular and oversubscribed  and we pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming with a strong ‘community ethos’.

The successful candidate will - be an  inspirational and excellent classroom practitioner, who is able to engage children through exciting and   creative teaching. - be committed to high standards and raising attainment for all children - be flexible and able to work closely with other KS2 team members and the wider school community - be keen to engage in continuing professional development
