My client are a leading distribution business who are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their rapidly growing business. As Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the supply chain activities that are divided into logistics, warehousing and procurement. The role will be to engage with supplier negotiations as well as being responsible for all the warehouse activities and the logistics. This role will also take ownership for the accuracy and availability of Inventory leading to inventory counts.
We are looking for an individual who has experience of managing a team as well as proven people management skills including engaging and motivating. You will be an effective negotiator in both written and verbal communication. The ideal candidate will have experience of end to end supply chain within a distribution environment. If you have MCIPS or Prince 2 this would be advantageous but not essential.
