This is an excellent opportunity to join the senior management team at Maidenbower Specialist Day Centre as a Community Connector, promoting and enabling customers to be engaged in their local community to the best of their ability. You will be responsible for contributing to the supervision of the day to day operation of the service which main focus is on person centred practice for customers who have high levels of dependency or complex needs who attend the centre daily.

The role involves the promoting and recruitment of volunteers, ensuring that they receive regular supervision and relevant training. You will be required to cover duty management as part of senior rota. The use of the centre inside and outside of core hours is to be developed and managed. The support of student/school placements is also an integral part of this role

You will need to be a highly motivated individual who can be outward focussed in developing connections with different agencies, voluntary, cultural and community groups. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships and be able to work efficiently and when under pressure. Good IT skills are essential for this role.

Salary £20,400 – £22,443 per annum (£8,270 - £9,098 pro rata)
