An exciting opportunity for a driven, ambitious Bookkeeper to join an entrepreneurial SME business in a newly created position to establish and progress their finance function.

About You:

* You will be an experienced and technically confident accounts professional with good commercial awareness who is wanting to be a key contributor to the success and development of this dynamic organisation.
* You will have dedication, determination and the want to make a difference within the workplace through effective financial management, suggesting improvements and a pro-active approach.
* You will be driven by success and ready to take on a fresh, exciting challenge.
* You will be a professional, confident communicator at all levels.
* Ideally AAT qualified with experience of Sage or Xero but both requirements negotiable for the right person.

You will be joining a small office of 4 people which is expected to grow in the next few years and be instrumental in driving the business forward. Reporting to the Managing Directors, you will assist with all aspects of the core accounting function up to and including management accounts. They have ample parking, an attractive looking office and a very strong sense of team spirit. This business is establishing a good reputation within its specialist industry and is expected to continue experiencing strong year on year growth. There is room for this person to grow and develop in-line with business expansion.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

* Sales & Purchase Ledger.
* Credit Control.
* Maintaining company cashflow spreadsheet and conducting analysis work for Directors.
* Product / service profitability and margin calculations.
* Payment runs.
* Payroll.
* Management Accounts.
* VAT.
* Year end figures for Accountants.
* Assisting with general office management and involvement with business operations.
* Working closely with the Managing Directors to ensure the most effective financial control for the business and making a positive impact in the business.
