An award winning and highly entrepreneurial local business, which operates internationally, is seeking a diligent and very technically strong Accountant to join them in the newly created role of Senior Accountant. This individual will manage 3 staff and be the lead finance person for one of the two offices this business operates from. They will report directly to a qualified Finance Director, who is based overseas, but also deal directly with the company's' Managing Director.

Overview of duties:

• Day to day lead of finance team.
• Prepare monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarising data, information, and trends.
• Development, control and automation of reports prepared and reviewed by finance.
• Forecasting, reporting and monitoring of treasury. Authorisation for payments in all bank accounts.
• Reporting and monitoring FX forward requirements and settlement.
• Management of Payroll – processing and payment along with maintenance of HR documents.
• Lead in annual audits.
• Support of FD on preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Responsible for compliance of filing requirements (including tax) and payments for all companies in the group.
• Support of FD in projects and ad hoc tasks.
