What we are looking for:

An LSA who: - Is committed to raising standards for all children - Is passionate about helping to make learning experiences exciting, memorable and engaging for all children. - Demonstrates a commitment to pupils’ development and pastoral care. - Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the school’s aims. - Understands and can implement effective assessment procedures. - Has high aspirations for themselves and the children they work with.

Ideally you will hold a qualification in supporting children to learn such as NVQ level 3 or have extensive experience in teaching small groups in recognised intervention programmes. In addition, candidates should have Grade C GCSE or equivalent in English and maths.

About the post:

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 child with behavioural and associated learning needs. The hours are mornings only from Monday – Friday, 8.45 am – 12.15 pm (17.5 hours). Experience in dealing with behaviour issues would also be an advantage but not essential. This role also requires the successful applicant to undertake a minimum of two MDSA sessions a week (Single Status Grade 1 15,013)

Visits to the school would be highly recommended
