The Senior Finance team at Harvey John recruitment is working with a Crawley business with the recruitment of a Finance Director.

Experience gained within a UK based Manufacturing business is essential.

Reporting to the Managing Director of this established specialist manufacturer, the job holder will be responsible for all financial matters of the business including Company Secretarial duties.

Managing a small finance team, key aspects of the role will be:
* Provide financial analysis and advice as may be required by the Managing Director, Chairman or Board of Directors.
* Provide to the Board monthly reports on the company's trading and financial position.
* Prepare annual financial budgets including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash-flow for board approval
* Prepare monthly management accounts of profit and loss and balance sheet and report on these at monthly board meeting
* Prepare year end statutory accounts for approval by the company's auditors
* Prepare weekly cash-flow projections and manage credit and payments to ensure the company operates within borrowing limits agreed with the company bankers


Applicants will be professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with demonstrable Director/Controller experience an SME environment. A manufacturing background with knowledge of import/export documentation and procedures is required ideally with international, private equity and experience of growing companies.
