University of Chichester Conservatoire Commencing in September 2022 Hourly paid up to 36.98 per hour Up to a maximum of 176 for the academic year 2022/23 An opportunity has arisen to recruit a new Dance Specialist to join our vibrant Musical Theatre team in the University of Chichester Conservatoire. Based at our Bognor Regis Campus this position will be contributing to the University’s Musical Theatre Triple Threat undergraduate degree route. The programmes adopt a student centric approach to learning and teaching and successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities. Candidates should have an appropriate teaching /or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, and have extensive recent relevant teaching / practical experience of teaching ballet and/or tap. It is anticipated that all staff will be engaged with the development of best practice in dance performance and its assessment, as well as in current developments in pedagogy. Knowledge and experience of academic frameworks in conjunction with an analytical approach to musical theatre study will also be required.
