Are you wanting to start a practical career working towards becoming a fully qualified Electrician. If so this could be the role for you. We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Estate Management team. This will require the you to spend one day per week studying whilst working towards completing the apprenticeship, across a period of approximately 24 – 48 months on a fixed term contract.

As our Apprentice you will gain on the job experience providing a helpful, maintenance service to students, staff and visitors across the University. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of different departmental projects, working with a range of building disciplines. Additionally, you will gain knowledge and experience of health and safety practices.

You will need to hold GCSE English and Maths Grade C / 4 or above and demonstrate the desire and tenacity to progress with a career. Good organisational and communication skills are essential for this role as is a proactive approach and the ability to juggle successful study with practical delivery.
