A strong, independent Sussex based firm of chartered accountants are looking to welcome an experienced Management Accountant to their Outsourced services team based in Lewes, East Sussex.

Based a short walk from Lewes railway station, the office has good transport links by train and bus as well as onsite parking.

About You:

• Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified
• Candidates without a professional qualification but with relevant experience, may be considered
• Recent experience of working in an accountancy practice or possibly open to working within an accountancy practice environment
• Working knowledge of accounting software including Sage, Xero, Quickbooks wil be an advantage
• Strong Excel skills (including vlookup, sumif and pivot tables)
• First class communication and presentation skills in this client facing role
• Happy to travel locally to meet clients so you'll have access to your own transport

• Preparation of management and statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including the preparation of VAT returns
• Sharing best practice and ideas within the team for process improvement and development of each other
• Identifying other service needs of your clients

The salary range should be seen as a guide and has been set by the agency. Your expectations will be discussed upon application.
