I need a competent, friendly and reliable person to act as Personal Assistant to my 21 year old son. He is visually impaired and has autism, so experience of working with people with these needs is desirable.

The role is mainly to support him at the day centre he attends. Tasks include personal care, food preparation, eating and supporting him to take part in social activities such as art classes.

No driving involved as transport to the day centre is provided.

• Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

• All applicants must be willing to undertake an enhanced CRB check.
