Our client is seeking a Human Resource Officer to cover all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee related issues, learning and development, health and safety and auditing.

  • Provide professional advice on HR issues to line managers and employees
  • Support managers on disciplinary, grievance and other employee relating issues.
  • Active co-ordination and support of the recruitment cycle
  • Learning & Development co-ordination including H&S courses and new starter inductions
  • Participation in ISO-9001 audits
  • Building and maintaining relationships with client groups and line managers

    preferred skills

  • An engineering/manufacturing company background would be advantageous
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience
  • CIPD Member with at least 3 years experience
  • Able to work on own initiative, with the confidence to challenge current procedures to the benefit of the business
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to assess and resolve conflict
  • Highly organised
