We have an exciting 12 month opportunity to deliver the above role, which is part of a pilot partnership initiative between Sussex Central YMCA, CRI and West Sussex Integrated Youth Support and Development Services. The successful candidate will work as part of a multiagency team delivering integrated resettlement support services with Substance Misuse Services in the County and the County Council's Youth Offending Team. The role will deliver specific resettlement support to young people leaving custody to ensure they are able to access suitable accommodation and develop the necessary support networks to promote independent living and reduce re-offending patterns. The service will be available across the County, but there will be a strong emphasis in the north of West Sussex. Due to the dispersed nature of the role you will need to be able to demonstrate how you will manage the travel element of the role. This secondment is an excellent opportunity for frontline staff who want to stretch their practitioner skills in working on a cutting edge initiative with some of the most challenging and excluded young people. It will also be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in working directly alongside statutory services in a multidisciplinary team.
