Working with an established independent chartered accountancy firm with the recruitment of an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior based in central Brighton, East Sussex.

Based in the heart of the Lanes, the office is only a ten minute walk from Brighton train station and accessible via bus routes from the across the city and beyond.

The firm is looking for an experienced accounts professional to join a small team in preparing accounts for a loyal client base.

About You

• Possibly AAT qualified or actively studying
• Currently be working within a firm of accountants
• Deal with the preparation of accounts (both management and statutory) and associated tax compliance for a wide ranging and varied client portfolio
• Looking to work for a small firm where client care and service levels are of the utmost importance
• Experienced and competent with cloud based accounting systems ideally Xero (Xero Certified would be a real bonus!)
• Confident in working largely unsupervised but as part of a small team
• First class communication and presentation skills, happy in a client facing role
