About the Role

Exciting opportunity to work with the Subject Leader with the design and preparation of resources and materials for teaching; organisation of resources and records in the Art, Beauty, Design Technology and Food Technology Departments.  The successful candidate will be required to accurately prepare and use specialist equipment, resources and materials following statutory health and safety requirements to support specific learning activities.  To maintain each workshop and classroom in each Department and carry out servicing and maintenance of machines and specialist equipment to ensure safety and reliability and to undertake repairs/modifications where appropriate and refer other problems to more senior colleagues to meet service delivery standards.  To prepare resources for subject teachers and maintain all stock rooms, keep stock records and order stock as required.  Ringmer Community College is a rural comprehensive with an ethos of "achieving, caring and contributing".  We have a strong reputation for our inclusion and pastoral care and an improving trend of results in terms of student attainment and progress.
