Harvey John is working exclusively with a rapidly expanding entrepreneurial business on sourcing an experienced Stock & Supplier Manager to help ensure the effective management of this area of the business. This niche organisation is experiencing strong year on year growth and establishing an industry leading reputation which will present exciting opportunities for its employees.

The circa 25 staff who work at this business all work remotely with occasional 'meet ups'. This person will also be required to work from home and manage their own time effectively, liaising with colleagues predominantly via phone and email. A company laptop and phone will be provided. The CEO would like this to be a full time position (37.5 hours per week) but there is some flexibility around start and finish times. Despite many of the other staff being based in the Sussex area, this person can be based anywhere across the South East.

The role is to ensure that the company and its customers always have the right stock levels. This involves managing the stock levels using Excel spreadsheets, liaising with the Directors on forecasting stock requirements, placing orders, stock reconciliations, and overseeing transportation. So that the candidate has full control over the whole process they would also post supplier invoices, and stock and sales invoices, onto the bookkeeping system.

It is necessary that this person be adept at self-managing and extremely hard working. They also need have relevant experience within a similar demand / stock / planning / logistics position.
