About the Role

East Sussex County Council has recently awarded a new Highways Infrastructure Services Contract to maintain and improve our highway network. We are creating a new client contract management team to manage the contract, working collaboratively with our contractor partner to deliver a truly excellent highway service for the people of East Sussex. We are looking for people to come and join us who positively enjoy challenge, the opportunity to create something new and who can deliver the highest performance from themselves and others.

A key function of the new client team will be contract performance and compliance and as the Senior Performance Analyst, reporting to the Contract Performance and Compliance Manager, you will help develop and maintain an effective and robust performance reporting and planning regime to support the Highways Contract. You will work to ensure the contract performance targets are achieved; monitor and report on the contract service level; review the contract services, systems, workloads and processes ensuring best value; and develop and manage benchmarking to demonstrate how the contract is delivering and performing.

Excellent communication, report writing and attention to detail skills will be essential in the preparation of high quality, clear and concise reports for approval by the Performance Manager, and in providing professional information guidance and advice. Good knowledge of performance management regimes and experience of interpreting and presenting complex data to a variety of audiences will be key. Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
