Residential School based in a rural location just outside of Haywards Heath for children with autism and other learning disabilities, the school is part of a group of 3 and offers children tailor made education to ensure that they achieve and flourish, breaking boundaries and expectations.

You will be working as part of a well established team of support workers based at the school, supporting children in the day to day operations of the school. The role will give you the oppourtunity to work 1-1 with the children and also facilitate group activities in an educational setting.

Your daily duties will involve getting the children ready for the school day and also you will be supporting them through activites and educational pursuits.

Experience working with autism and learning disabilities is a bonus as you will be expected to engage with the young people and facilitate their needs.

The role comes with the benefit of working mon-fri and during term time only, the shift work does include you working evenings but limited sleepin shifts.
