Company Payroll Officer

Hove, East Sussex (parking available)

Salary circa £24-28k per annum

Looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual with good payroll experience to join a reputable Hove based business in a newly created payroll position. This organisation is well-known for the positive impact it has on the local community and is a business employees can be proud of working for.

The role will sit as part of a medium sized finance team and report to the Head of Finance. This induvial will solely manage internal payroll processes, including processing and reconciling the monthly payroll and ensuring accurate information is sent to the payroll bureau (i.e. starters, leavers, SMP, SSP, changes of details, etc). They will also manage the company pension scheme, assess and remodel existing payroll processes, and oversee a move to a new payroll system. There will be some interesting projects for this person to involve themselves in and the role will offer opportunities for professional career development.
