About the Role

Little Horsted is a successful small rural school situated just off the A26 near Uckfield. Inside the school is a highly motivated community where pupils are encouraged to develop their full potential in a Christian, caring environment.  From September 2016 our Nursery has become part of our school. Children can start from the term before they are 3. Our vision is to provide outstanding progressive early years education throughout our Early Years Foundation Stage that continues on through our School Village Community.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational, innovative and talented Nursery Assistant who has a good knowledge of assisting the teaching ethos of early years. Prospective candidates should have a level 2 qualification and a good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures and policies that are essential in an Early Years setting.

The position is part time however with our nursery expanding rapidly more hours could become available. The Nursery Assistant role will be supported by the Early Years Team that consists of experienced and dedicated teaching and support staff in a school that is in a stunning rural location.

Further information and an application pack may be downloaded from the school's website or by contacting the school

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged - just phone the school office to make an appointment.
