Ofsted registered children's home for boys aged 11- 17 years, offering 52-week care and education. It is located just outside the village of Slinfold and is set in beautiful countryside close to the Sussex/Surrey border.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a registered Manager in the Head of Care role. Working at a registered children's home and school DSCF and Ofsted registered offering care and education for boys aged between 11-17 years with social, emotional, behavioural disorders (SEBD).

The Head of Care role is pivotal in supporting the teams to deliver best practice and achieve positive outcomes for young people. You will join an experienced team, and working in partnership with the Principal and Head of Education work with a holistic approach to deliver a high quality, child focused service.

Successful applicants will have experience in working with children and young people, 2 years supervisory and managerial experience. You will need to hold and NVQ level 4 or 5. Social work qualification and post qualifying experience of two years and above would be beneficial.

You will need to demonstrate effective leadership of staff, commitment, drive and a real desire to work proactively with young people who are complex and present a wide range of challenges.
