Our client is a mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants based in mid Kent with a strong reputation for excellence. The successful candidate will be involved in a mixed role incorporating mainly accounts preparation with some tax and audit, depending on your abilities.

The objectives of this role are to prepare basic accounts jobs to completion and help prepare tax returns whilst on-the-job learning.

Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing client accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
• Preparation of basis income tax and corporation tax computations
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Maintaining client relationships, consistent rapport building
• Other ad hoc duties as when required
• Managing your own workload in a timely and efficient manner


Essential skills:
• AAT studier or ACCA studier
• Experience gained within a UK firm of chartered accountants

• Well presented, organised and thorough,
• Able to see projects through to completion,
• Polite and patient with clients at all times,
