About the Role

Southover CE Primary School is a successful school in the heart of Lewes. As our new teaching assistant for Year 6 you will be a flexible and inspirational person with the skills and abilities necessary for providing classroom support for the teacher, preparing resources and working with individuals and groups of children. Previous experience of a similar role or knowledge of working with children may be an advantage but would not be essential. Support and training will be provided. You would be working as a part of a friendly and supportive team. Start date would be 1st September 2016. The job is subject to satisfactory references and the usual health and DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
