Our client is looking for "Residential Childcare Support Workers" within the Sussex area. They have vacancies in Worthing, Hastings and Burgess Hill.

 

Duties and responsibilities will include providing a caring and supportive environment in which young people will feel safe.

Acting as a positive role model and working as part of a team is crucial.

Ensure the rights and needs of the young people are met as fully as possible whether emotional, spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural or social.

 

The hours of work are 42 hours per week on a 5 week rolling rota, to include sleep ins.

 

Experience of working with children and young adults with emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential, as is a flexible attitude. Car driver would be an advantage.
