Group Risk Insurance Administrator

West Byfleet

We are looking for a Group Risk Insurance Administrator to join a fabulous Financial Services company in West Byfleet to assist with the implementation, maintenance and administration of a large
book of group medical, dental and travel policies for our clients.


Responsibilities
·Processing new joiners/leavers/data amendment, identifying medical underwriting
requirements for members where necessary and updating the Adviser Office/Avelo database system.
·Assisting with scheme annual revisions by collating client data, obtaining provider quotations, collating quotations, prepping renewal report for Consultant.
·To communicate with, and forge strong relationships with clients and providers at all levels across the business, providing an excellent, pro-active level of service.
·Build up knowledge of group medical products (group medical, dental and travel; both UK
and International) through effective/accurate email and report writing.
·Maintain accurate client records using the company's approved to enable review by managers.
·Record key activities (email/telephone calls)
·Maintain accurate work flow using task tracking tools on database
·Report complaints and urgent critical issues in the prescribed manner detailed in the companies complaints procedures manual.
·Report to the PMI Team weekly, with regard to work flow, accounts, reports and renewals
due/completed.
·Able to produce progress schedules and analysis.
·Plan and organise workload autonomously with the ability to communicate ongoing
progress to line manager.


Minimum Requirements:

·Proven experience within an Insurance role dealing with Group Life, Income Protection & Critical Illness.
·GR1 qualification preferred
·Candidates must have first class verbal & written communication skills
·As this position involves a lot of data entry, candidates must have great attention to detail to ensure accuracy
·Candidates will require good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel & keyboard skills for data entry
·Use of AVELO Advisor Office (1st) would be desirable but not essential
·GCSE minimum grade B in English & Maths
